Vacancy Details of PGIMER Chandigarh Jobs 2018:

Total No. and Name of Posts: 35 Assistant Professor Vacancies

Pay scale: PB-3 i.e. Rs.15600-39100/- + Grade Pay Rs. 8,000/- with minimum pay of Rs. 30,000/- (pre-revised) plus NPA (for medical personnel) further revised in Pay Matrix (Level-12) with a minimum pay of Rs. 1,01,500/-.

Specialty: CTVS

Qualification: A postgraduate qualification i.e. M.Ch Cardiothoracic Surgery of an Indian University/Institute recognized by the Medical Council of India or MCI recognized qualification equivalent thereto for teaching post. The candidate must be registered with the State Medical Council/MCI.
b. Experience: 1 year teaching and research experience after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.Ch in case of 2 years M.Ch. However, no additional experience is necessary for the candidates possessing the 3 years recognised degree of M.Ch. or qualification recognised equivalent thereto.

Specialty: Endocrinology
a. Qualification: A Postgraduate qualification i.e. DM (Endocrinology) of an Indian University/Institute recognized by Medical Council of India or MCI recognized qualification equivalent thereto for a teaching post. The candidate must be registered with the State Medical Council/MCI.
b. Experience: 1 years teaching and research experience after obtaining the qualifying degree of DM in case of 2 years DM course. However, no additional experience is necessary for the candidates possessing the 3 years recognized degree of DM or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

Specialty: Experimental Medicine and Biotechnology
a. Qualification: A postgraduate qualification i.e. MD in Medicine or DM in Genetics or Immunology of an Indian University/Institute recognized by the Medical Council of an India or MCI recognized qualification equivalent thereto for teaching post. The candidate must be registered with the State Medical Council/MCI.
b. Experience: 3 year teaching and research experience, in a recognized Institution in the relevant field after obtaining the degree of MD. No additional experience in case of DM.

Specialty: Gastroenterology (Neuro)
a. Qualification: A Postgraduate qualification of an Indian University i.e. DM Gastroenterology or an equivalent degree recognized as such by Medical Council of India.The candidate must be registered with the State/Central Medical Council. 
b. Experience: 1 year teaching and research experience in a recognized Institution in the field of Gastroenterology after obtaining the qualifying degree of DM. Note: Candidates with DM degree of 3 years, no experience is required. Desirable: Teaching and/or research experience in the field of NeuroGastroenterology and Motility.

Specialty: Gastroenterology (Community)
a. Qualification: A Postgraduate qualification i.e. MD (Community Medicine/Social & Preventive Medicine) or MD (Medicine/Pediatrics) or DM (Gastroenterology) of an Indian University/Institute recognized by the Medical Council of India or MCI recognized qualification equivalent thereto for a teaching post. The candidate must be registered with the State/Central Medical Council.
b. Experience: 3 years teaching and research experience, in a recognized Institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of MD. No additional experience after DM Gastroenterology. 1 year teaching and research experience after obtaining the qualifying degree in case of 2 years DM course.

Specialty: General Surgery
a. Qualification: A Postgraduate qualification i.e. MS (Surgery) of an Indian University/Institute recognized by Medical Council of India or MCI recognized qualification equivalent thereto for a teaching post.The candidate must be registered with the State Medical Council/MCI.
b. Experience: 3 year teaching and research experience, in a recognized Institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of MS.

Specialty: Hospital Administration
a. Qualification: A Postgraduate qualification i.e. MD in Hospital Administration of Indian University/Institute or MHA of an Indian University/Institute recognized by Medical Council of India or MCI recognized qualification equivalent thereto for a teaching post. The candidate must be registered with the State Medical Council/MCI.MHA of two years should have one year additional experience in Hospital Administration.
b. Experience: 3 year teaching and research experience, in a recognized Institution in the subject of Hospital Administration after acquiring the essential qualifications.

Specialty: Internal Medicine
a. Qualification: A postgraduate qualification i.e. MD (Internal Medicine) of an Indian University/Institute recognized by the Medical Council of India or MCI recognized qualification equivalent thereto for teaching post. The candidate must be registered with the State Medical Council/MCI.
b. Experience: 3 years teaching and research experience in a recognized Institution after obtaining the qualifying degree of MD.

Specialty: Nephrology
a. Qualification: A postgraduate qualification i.e. DM (Nephrology) of an Indian University/Institute recognized by the Medical Council of India or MCI recognized qualification equivalent thereto for teaching post.The candidate must be registered with the State Medical Council/MCI.
b. Experience: 1 year teaching and research experience, after obtaining the qualifying degree of DM in case of 2 years DM course. However, no additional experience is necessary for the candidates possessing the 3 years recognized degree of DM or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

Specialty: Neurology
a. Qualification: A postgraduate qualification i.e. DM (Neurology) of an Indian University/Institute recognized by the Medical Council of India or MCI recognized qualification equivalent thereto for teaching post.OR DM in Neurology of 6 years Integrated course after MBBS. 
b. Experience: 1 year teaching and research experience, after obtaining the qualifying degree of DM in case of 2 years DM course. However, no additional experience is necessary for the candidates possessing the 3 years recognized degree of DM or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

Specialty: Pediatrics (Anthropology)
a. Qualification: M.Sc in Anthropology, Ph.D degree in Human Growth of an Indian University or its equivalent Ph.D. Degree from a foreign University recognized as such by the University Grants Commission. 
b. Experience: 3 years teaching and research experience in handling longitudinal child growth data after obtaining the Ph.D. Degree.

Specialty: Psychiatry Clinical Psychology (NM)
a. Qualification: Master’s degree (regular course recognised by UGC or equivalent) in Psychology and M.Phil in Clinical Psychology (2 years full time course done from a Psychiatry Department/Institute). Ph.D degree in the concerned discipline/subject of an Indian University/Institute or its equivalent Ph.D. degree from a foreign University recognized by the University Grants Commission. 
b. Experience: 03 years teaching and / or research experience in the discipline/subject concerned after obtaining the Ph.D. Degree.

Specialty: CSIC (Biomedical Engg. & Innovation)
a. Qualification: Ph.D after obtaining M.Tech/M.E. in Biomedical Engineering.
b. Experience: 03 years experience in the field of Biomedical Engineering post – Ph.D.Experience in any Central Instrumentation facility of a large Institute.

Age: upto 50 Years as on 08.09.2018 (Last date of receipt of applications)
Application Fee: SC/ST - Rs. 500/-, For all others - Rs. 1000/-

Selection Procedure: The eligible candidates will be called for interview. However, the same would be provisional subject to fulfillment of all requirements failing which he/she will not be allowed to appear for interview.

The candidates should fill his/her application form available on the PGIMER website. He/She should fill all the fields of the form. No fields should be left blank. After filling application form the candidate should deposit the application fee through challan form (Triplicate) in any branch of SBI. The application along with copies of certificates duly attested by the Gazetted Officer in support of educational qualification(s), experience, age/date of birth certificate, caste certificate, No Objection Certificate from the present employer, if employed and one copy of challan form should be sent through registered post or Speed Post or personally only to the Administrative Officer (Recruitment Cell), PGIMER, Sector-12, Chandigarh 160012 so as to reach before 08.09.2018 till 01.00 P.M. The applications received through Courier/Ordinary Postal Dak etc. are not acceptable. The applications received after the due date will not be accepted. The PGIMER will not be responsible for any postal delay.
