(i) A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or second Schedule or part II of the Third schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of Educational qualifications included in the Part II of Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of section (13) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). (ii) Post-Graduate Degree or diploma in the concerned speciality or super-speciality mentioned in Section-A or Section-B in the Schedule-VI i.e. Doctor of Medicine (Tuberculosis); or Doctor of Medicine (Tuberculosis and Respiratory Diseases); or Doctor of Medicine (Medicine) with Diploma in Tuberculosis Diseases/ Diploma in Tuberculosis and Chest Diseases; or Doctor of Medicine (Tuberculosis and Chest Diseases); or Diploma in Tuberculosis Diseases; or Diploma in Tuberculosis and Chest Diseases for Post 3.

First Class Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering for Post 4.

Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Technology and Master of Engineering/Master of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering with First Class or equivalent either in Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Technology or Master of Engineering/Master of Technology and Ph.D. or equivalent in Computer Science and Engineering for Post 5 with relevant experience.

Required Education Qualification:
For Superintending Engineer: First class degree or equivalent grade in Civil / Electrical Engineering in relevant field from a recognized University /Institute. Minimum 15 years experience.

For Dy. Registrar: Post Graduate with at least 55% of the marks, or its equivalent grade of 'B' in the UGC seven point scale. Minimum 5 years of administrative experience.

For Executive Engineer (Civil / Electrical): First  class  degree  or  equivalent grade  in Engineering (Electrical / Civil) from a recognized University / Institute. Minimum 08 years experience.

For Assistant Librarian: Master's Degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation Science or an equivalent professional degree with CGPA of 6.5 in 10 point scale or at least 60% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) and a consistently good academic record with superior knowledge of computerized library service. Qualifying in the national level test conducted for the purpose of UGC or any other agency approved by the UGC. Minimum 5 years' experience.

For Assistant Registrar: Masters' degree in any discipline with at least 55% marks or its equivalent Grade 'B' in the UGC 7 point scale from a recognized University / Institute with excellent academic record. Overall 5 years working experience.

For Scientific Officer: M. Sc. (Physics, / Chemistry / Biology) Degree in relevant field with first class or equivalent grade (6.5 in 10 point scale) and consistently excellent academic record. 5 years of research experience in relevant field.

For Technical Officer: B. E. / B. Tech or M. Sc / MCA Degree in relevant field with first class or equivalent grade (6.5 in 10 point scale) and consistently excellent academic record. 5 years experience in relevant field.

For Physical Education Trainer: Graduate with Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) or its equivalent. Diploma in Coaching from NIS Patiala or its equivalent. 4 years relevant coaching experience in approved College / University / Institution.

For Junior Superintendent: Master's Degree with at least 50% marks in any discipline. (OR) Bachelor's Degree with at least 60% marks in any discipline. Overall 3 years working experience.
