National Institute for Research in Tuberculosis (NIRT), Chennai has updated a latest notification and invites application in concern manner from the eligible and interested candidates for the recruitment of Data Entry Operator (DEO), Scientist B (Medical), Staff Nurse, Project Technical Assistant (Counsellor), Project Technician III (Field Worker), Project Technician III (Lab) vacancies for the project titled “Cohorts for HIV Resistance and Progression in Indian Children and Adults” purely on temporary basis. Age Limit: Age should not be exceed 25 years for Data Entry Operator (DEO), 35 years for Scientist B (Medical), 30 years for Staff Nurse, Project Technical Assistant (Counsellor), Project Technician III (Field Worker), Project Technician III (Lab). Age relaxation is applicable as per GOI rules.

Educational Qualification: Intermediate or 12th Pass from recognized Board, Data entry speed of 8000 key depressions per hour on computer to qualify skill test for Data Entry Operator (DEO), MBBS Degree recognized by MCI and registered in the respective Council with one year Research/ Teaching experience OR MD in Microbiology/ Pathology/ PSM for Scientist B (Medical), Diploma in Nursing or Midwifery (GNM) or equivalent and registered nurse or ANM with any State Nursing Council registration for Staff Nurse, Graduate/ Master’s degree in Social Work /Sociology/Psychology relevant Social Science for Project Technical Assistant (Counsellor), 12th Pass in Science subjects or equivalent for Project Technician III (Field Worker), 12th pass with science subjects with 2 year DMLT or One year DMLT Science subjects for Project Technician III (Lab) from a recognized university with relevant experience.

Selection Process: Based on Aptitude Test, written test/ interview.

Application Fee: Pay Rs. 100/- by demand draft drawn in favour of Director, NIRT, Chennai from any Nationalized banks. No fee for SC/ ST, physically disabled candidates and women candidates.
