ii) possessing qualification as prescribed for Direct Recruitment.

(The departmental candidate with six years regular service as Senior Finance Officer (A-VII) in Level 11 (Rs. 67700-208700) shall be considered alongwith those considered for Transfer (absorption). In case such candidate is selected for appointment, the post shall be deemed to have filled by promotion).

    Institute of Nano Science and Technology (INST), Mohali, Punjab- which is an Autonomous Research Institute of the Department of Science and Technology has issued a notification and invited application from the eligible candidates for filling up 44 posts of Scientists, Finance Officer and Stenographer on temporary basis. Other important details regarding these posts are mentioned below:-

    Details of the Vacancies of INST, Mohali, Punjab:

    I. Scientific and Technical Post:
       1. Scientist 'G'(Professor 'G'): 01 post
       2. Scientist 'F' (Professor 'F'): 03 posts
       3. Scientist 'E' (Associate Professor): 09 posts
       4. Scientist 'D' (Assistant Professor): 04 posts
       5. Scientist 'C': 08 posts
       6. Scientist 'B': 15 posts

    II.Administrative Posts:
       1. Chief Finance & Administrative Officer: 01 post
       2. Finance Officer: 01 post
       3. Stenographer: 02 posts

    Age Limit:
    Candidates those who are applying for the posts No. 1, 2, 7 and 8 should not be more than 50 years. For post no. 3 and 9 should not be more than 45 years. For post no. 4 candidates should not be more than 40 years and should not be more than 35 years for the post no. 5 and 6 as on 16-12-2013. However the upper age relaxation will be given as per the Rule of Govt Of India.

    Educational Qualification:
    Candidates those who re applying for the Scientific and Technical post should possess Master Degree in relevant Discipline. Candidates those who are applying for the posts of Administrative should be a Graduate with MBA/CA and typing knowledge with relevant experience.

    Application Fee:
    Candidates belongs from general category are required to pay the application fee of Rs.500/- in the form of Demand Draft/Indian Postal Order drawn in favour of Institute of Nano Science & Technology, Mohali payable at Mohali or at Chandigarh. Candidates of SC/ST/PWD and Regular Employees of Institute of Nano Science & Technology are exempted from paying the application Fee.

    Selection Procedure:
    Selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of Test and Interview.
